DEPARTMENT OF DAIRY ENGINEERING

Dairy Engineering Division was established as one of the major division from the inception of the Institute. As one of the larger departments of College of Dairy Technology, Udgir, it covers a wide range of areas dealing with Dairy and Food Engineering, Dairy Machinery and Power Workshop, Electrical Engineering, Refrigeration and air conditioning engineering. The department of Dairy Engineering aims to prepare students for successfully surpassing the challenges in industrial arena, through various courses.

Objectives

  • To develop human resources in the field of dairy and food engineering by conducting undergraduate level courses.
  • To undertake applied research related to generation of engineering data, design and development of dairy process equipments instruments and energy conservation in dairy process.
